CREATE, formerly Myeloid Therapeutics, disclosed preclinical in vivo CAR-T/CAR-NK and all-RNA RetroT work at AACR 2026. Clinical MT-302 is a myeloid-cell program, not evidence that its CAR-T programs have reached the same stage. The former name is retained as an alias. CREATE, formerly Myeloid Thera…
…IND preparation. EVM14 and EVM16 are cancer vaccines, not its in vivo CAR-T lead. EVM18 delivers CD19 CAR mRNA in targeted LNPs. Everest’s 2026 interim results report IIT initiation in autoimmune disease and global IND preparation. EVM14 and EVM16 are cancer vaccines, not its in vivo CAR-T lead. car…
GenVivo identifies GEN-310 as an in vivo CAR-T/NK program for B-cell malignancies. Its October 2025 corporate presentation classifies GEN-310 as preclinical. Clinical work on separate immunocytokine vectors should not be used to upgrade this CAR program. GenVivo identifies GEN-310 as an in vivo CAR-…
… engineering field; it should not be labeled as equivalent to in vivo CAR-T. Intellia presents CRISPR gene-editing science, clinical programs, and scientific publications on its official website. Its gene-editing work belongs in this broader in vivo engineering field; it should not be labeled as equ…
Sail combines eRNA with targeted nanoparticles for in vivo CAR-T in immune-mediated diseases. Its July 2026 Johnson & Johnson collaboration includes an option to acquire Sail, not a completed acquisition. A named clinical CAR-T candidate is not established by this announcement. Sail combines eRNA wi…
…odifying T or NK cells in vivo. It is kept separate from gene-encoded CAR-T because protein-based receptor installation has a different mechanism. The website does not establish human efficacy. Singular’s iCAR is a recombinant fusion-protein approach to modifying T or NK cells in vivo. It is kept se…
…ecombinases with cell-targeted LNP delivery to create durable in vivo CAR-T through sequence-specific insertion. Its platform disclosure establishes preclinical research intent and mechanism, not patient benefit or demonstrated clinical safety. Stylus combines engineered recombinases with cell-targe…
Aanastra discloses PEP-CAR, an anti-CD19 in vivo CAR-T strategy combining engineered RNA and targeting peptides for cancer and autoimmune disease. The public website does not establish a registered clinical program or validated patient outcomes. Aanastra discloses PEP-CAR, an anti-CD19 in vivo CAR-T…
CSPC announced initiation of the first Chinese center for SYS6055-003, a Phase 1/2 trial in relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. SYS6055 uses lentiviral vectors to generate CD19-targeting CAR-T cells in vivo. The company said recruitment and screening are underway following October clinical-trial authorization. Center initiation does not establish patient dosing, efficacy, or marketing approval.
Umoja announced four accepted ASH presentations, including clinical data from investigator-initiated studies of CD22-directed UB-VV400 in B-cell malignancies and UB-VV410 in lupus. Separate trial-in-progress posters concern UB-VV400 and BCMA/GPRC5D-directed UB-VV500. The announcement schedules December presentations rather than providing numerical response or safety results from those studies.
Tessera announced three preclinical presentations for the December 2026 ASH meeting. Topics include targeted LNP delivery for functional CAR-T generation in nonhuman primates and in vivo hematopoietic stem-cell editing for sickle cell disease. This is a company announcement of upcoming presentations, not a peer-reviewed publication or evidence of clinical benefit.
Tempest outlined TPST-4003, an in vivo CAR-T candidate using CD7-targeted mRNA/LNP delivery of a dual CD19/BCMA CAR. A planned investigator-initiated study would enroll approximately ten patients with nervous-system autoimmune diseases, initially including myasthenia gravis and multiple sclerosis, with dosing anticipated in the fourth quarter. This is a development plan, not human efficacy evidence for the in vivo candidate.
Azalea reported SITC preclinical findings for its dual-vector in vivo CAR-T platform, combining targeted CRISPR-Cas9 delivery with AAV-mediated CAR insertion at the TRAC locus. The company described leukemia clearance and protection after tumor rechallenge in selected mouse groups, plus dual-antigen and armored designs. These are animal findings, not evidence of efficacy or safety in patients.
Screening eight ionizable lipids identified a lead formulation that delivered reporter RNA to several immune-cell types. Researchers then used it to engineer primary human T cells expressing a MUC1-directed CAR, with cytotoxic activity against antigen-positive tumor cells in vitro. Animal reporter experiments supported delivery feasibility, but the study does not demonstrate therapeutic CAR-T generation inside patients or animals.
Typewriter Therapeutics emerged from stealth with $56 million in Series A financing led by AN Venture Partners and RA Capital. Its platform uses LNP-delivered RNA, including mRNA encoding an R2 protein, to pursue targeted insertion of therapeutic genes. Initial priorities include in vivo CAR T and genetic liver disease. The funding announcement does not establish human safety, durability, or clinical benefit.
A polymer-lipid carrier incorporating arginine-modified oligoethylenimine combined T-cell activation with mRNA delivery without an added targeting ligand. The formulation favored splenic delivery and engaged PI3K-AKT-mTOR signaling. FAP-CAR mRNA generated functional CAR T cells in experimental cancer and fibrosis settings. These are preclinical results; the article also has a subsequent publisher correction that should accompany interpretation.
The 2022 study delivered CAR-encoding mRNA with CD5-targeted lipid nanoparticles, generating transient CAR T cells in mice. The abstract reports reduced cardiac fibrosis and improved function after injury. This is preclinical evidence, not human efficacy.
